Cambrils Port

Papa doing his Monday morning bookings for theatres 5,000 miles away.
The Cambrils Port was built in 1933 by demand of the local fishermen families to protect their homes and boats from squalls.  Annie and I walked along the port earlier in the morning and were amazed at the difference in the variaton of boats docked there.
In the afternoon the fishing boats come in around 3:30 to unload.  We waited and waited and finally they came.  It was quite a sight to watch them go through the fish, squid and what not, selecting the best catch of the day to sell.

The first boat to come in.

Notice the kitty waiting for scraps.
The port also offered hundreds of restaurants, parks and.................basketball courts lining the beach!
Coach Eddy style!

These ol' guys were playing a form of bocce ball, one of our family favorites to play on summer holidays and birthdays.

We enjoyed another great meal at the local German restaurant.
